Grahamstown provides the ideal setting for educating young minds. Surrounded by a diversity of farmlands, game reserves, beaches and unique historical sites, and with Rhodes University and a range of schools on our doorstep - our pupils are able to experience a richness of living in a small, cosmopolitan, urban environment enriched by the unique character of the Eastern Cape.
Kingswood's Adventure-Based Education programme makes full use of our proximity to both mountains and sea. Pupils regularly visit the beaches of Port Alfred and Kenton and hike the mountains of Hogsback.
Grahamstown is internationally acknowledged as an education centre which provides children with a safe and stimulating environment in which to develop. Known as the Festival City, Grahamstown plays host to the National Arts Festival and the SciFest Africa. Our pupils are able to benefit from these national events right on our doorstep.
