Four Kingswood pupils - Abigail Branford, Sharon Suh, Angela Fetting and Lonah Dyani travelled to Durban to participate in the National Individual Debating and Public Speaking competition held from Thursday 24 September till Saturday 26 September. Abigail and Lonah did very well, both ending in the top ten in the country - Abigail was ranked 9^th in the country for her Formal Speech and Lonah 10^th for Impromptu Speaking.  When combining the scores over all four disciplines (Debating, Formal Speaking, Impromptu Speaking and Interpretative Reading), Abigail came 20^th in the country.
