The Kingswood stand at the Bathurst show was once again a meeting point for parents and pupils from the district, and a showcase for the school. The marketing stand was attractively decorated with the new Kingswood umbrellas and lots of photographs and student art, while the art stand next door displayed some of the artistic talent at Kingswood, complete with pupils working at their easels with art teacher, Pete Jones advising and guiding them. The art stand was a real attraction at the show, with many showgoers wanting to buy some of the art done by Kingswood pupils. Unfortunately, the art is kept for matric portfolios, so there were no sales, but talent there was in abundance!
The Kingswood marketing stand took third prize in the exhibition hall. Andy Long, Kingswood Marketing Manager was on hand to greet visitors, and hand out Kingswood tatoos and chocolates to children who came in to look at the photographs on the exhibition - many of them recognising family and friends in the pictures.
